The former Archbishop of Wales and Canterbury, Lord Williams of Oystermounth – Dr Rowan Williams – will be giving a public lecture in Bangor next Monday evening.

Dr. Williams, who retired as Archbishop of Canterbury in 2012, is now Master of Magdalen College in the University of Cambridge.

He will be giving the Bangor University Chaplaincy Team Lecture in the Pontio Building at 7pm next Monday Evening (24 April – Lecture Room PL5)

Looking forward to the lecture, the Bishop of Bangor – the Right Reverend Andy John – said, “It will be wonderful to have one of the Anglican Church’s greatest Theologians back in our midst. I am thrilled that he has chosen our Diocesan motto – Worshipping God, Growing the church, Loving the world – as the title for this lecture. It promises to be an excellent occasion.’
