8 September 2017 – Good Hope Fundraising Event

The Diocese of Bangor’s Good Hope Subcommittee is organising a Hog Roast and Entertainment evening at our Cathedral in Bangor on Friday 8th September from 6pm.

There are four Good Hope primary schools in our link Diocese of Lango, Uganda, and the aim of the evening is to raise money for the next stage of their development. We need to do all that we can to protect the school sites, the buildings and their water supplies, which can often be fouled by cattle and other animals.

The evening will be one of food, entertainment from two local groups, some information about Good Hope and a draw for two nights in the Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon.

Tickets cost £10, which includes food, a glass of wine or juice and entry into the draw. Children under 16 who are accompanied by their parents are free, but do not receive entry into the draw. Virtually all of the costs of the evening have already been met – thanks to generous gifts and sponsorship – which means that we hope to raise a good amount to put towards this new project.

Some posters and flyers can downloaded:

Do come and join with our Bishop Andy on the night. You will be most welcome. It should be a good evening.
